Or am I just going into my second childhood?
I find that I am looking at things in a totally different way as I get along in years. Take this young man, for instance...a number of years back, I would have been appalled by all those tattoos...but now I find myself wondering if those tats go down any further than his belt line...
Would you call this crazy? Or merely a paradigm shift? (I love using buzz words). Hah! I think I figured it out. I am not crazy...I am an erotic romance author...and I see things in a whole other sense now. Where once I would have been shocked by a man's naked body flaunted for the world to ogle, I am one of those doing the ogling. Sigh. I am much like the silly dog that madly chases those sports cars down the street...it's fun to chase...but what the hell do I do with it if I catch it?
Never mind...I have a wonderful imagination, and I still know how to use it. LOL!
Too bad everything else is getting too old to use anymore. Creak...groan...ouch.
That might be why my books are so hot?
Living vicariously has become an art for me. Every heroine is a little part of me. Every hero is a composite of all the men I have drooled over and admired from afar for years...and have been too darned timid to chase. I am the little dog that sits inside her yard, watching the other dogs chase cars, too afraid to get run over to join the fun.
Hugs!
