Just follow the instructions below, (leave a comment on this blog post that says "I entered!" but do not leave your answer in your comment) then go to my website and use my "Contact Fran" page to send me an e-mail with your answers.  Be sure to put "Fran's Oktoberfest Contest" as the subject of your e-mail.  

In the body of the e-mail after your answers, be sure to give me your full name, your snail mail addy (unless you are outside the US in which case your prize will be an e-book) and your AGE.  Unless you state that you are at least 18 years of age I will not put you into the drawing.

Everyone who enters will win a prize, but only one can win the print book.  :)

This contest will run through October 31, 2011. Winner(s) will be selected by drawing at midnight Halloween...bwah hah hah....

1.)  Go to my Facebook page and click on the "photos" link on the left sidebar.  (Should show "33" photos) Once on my photo page, select the album "Romanticon 2011".  Pick the photo you like best out of all of them, leave a comment on that photo that says "This is the one I love best" and add the number "2011".

2.)  Go to my website and use the "Contact Fran" page.  Tell me which photo you loved best out of the ones I took at Romanticon 2011.  Tell me if you are one of my "fans" on Facebook. (You can become a "fan" by following the Facebook fan link on my blog), and if you are the winner of the contest, you will get another prize for just being my "fan". :)

First day at Romanticon...

So many wonderful people all in one place!

I will be uploading photos of all my friends when I find a moment to spare...you e-mail me if you don't see someone you want me to get a picture of.

I tried hard to get pics of everyone so you could enjoy them, but obviously my camera batteries died after two hours, and I will have to get more tomorrow!

EPIC Awards Finalist

Is a finalist in the Contemporary Romance category for the EPIC Awards this year!

 

So excited...I advanced to the finals last year with Out of Her Dreams, but didn't win.  Win or lose, being a finalist in the EPIC Awards is truly a feather in an author's cap!  Whoo hoo!

Got my new cover...

Uncertainly Yours

coming soon from Ellora's Cave

I subbed this one is April.  I got my cover last week, but am still waiting on the first edits.  I have been assured that the book will be released before year's end, so, here's hoping...

Just got past my birthday...survived one more year.  Almost past the post-herpedic pain of the shingles I got a couple of months ago.  Stress does some gnarly things to us, huh?

Romanticon is coming up too, and I'm pretty stressed about that.  Last year I got so sick on the return flight, I thought I would die.  But I did survive. Hmmm...

I'll let you know when the next book is released.  Thanks for checking my blog out, kiddies!

This was certainly a surprise!

I knew it was going to be released sometime this year, but with print books, they never tell you ahead of time.  What a surprise!  They caught mew with my pants down...Snort!

Contracted my wip...

In the meantime...

I will be working on another.  And another.  And another.  Editors, bless them, have lives too, and mine can't get to my first edits for another month or so.  


Have been seriously thinking about self-pubbing one just for the heck of it.  Of course, I wouldn't expect to sell many on my own, but maybe there are enough of my fans out there who might buy one, especially if they are reasonably-priced. I do a fairly good, clean manuscript.  Self-editing is not the easiest part of this thing, because we never see what's wrong with our own work...until it glares out of a printed page at us. LOL!  But I've been waaay too lazy, and have vegetated for an entire year. 

Just thinking over options...
